5 Steps To Successful WordPress On Page SEO
Article by David Ogram
Getting WordPress SEO right is not difficult provided you follow a logical process. The five steps to success are below.
1. Selection of KeywordsThe key to the success of all your on page SEO (and off page SEO) efforts is the choice of keywords. Rushing this step will be a major disadvantage in the long term. You need to find keywords which have a good search volume but do not have too much competition. It is also important who the competition is, it is impractical to think you can outrank an established huge company.
2. Domain Name/URLsOn Page SEO starts with the choice of your domain name. This should include your primary keyword which should be as near the beginning as doable e.g. keywordnow.com is superior than mykeyword.com. Use of hyphens will not impact SEO but can be a problem if people need to type in your URL.
Each page and post should have its own keyword in its URL.
3. Themes and PluginsSome themes are designed to simply look good whereas others are designed with on page SEO in mind (particularly premium themes). You should use one of the latter.
A standard WordPress installation does need some help for on page SEO purposes. You should change the permalinks to show the “pagename” and install a plugin to generate a site map for the search engines. You should also install an SEO plugin such as “All in One SEO Pack” which will, amongst other things, give control of titles, noindex duplicate content and wage facilities for the entry of metadata.
4. Standard PagesYour On Page SEO will be boosted by having the standard pages that Google likes to see – About Us, Contact Us, Privacy Policy, DMCA Policy, Anti-Spam Policy, Terms of Use. There should be links to these pages in the header or footer.
5. SEO Optimised Content
Having got the site set-up you then need to think about on page SEO for apiece page post. It is easiest to use a single keyword per page/post and you should then:
* Include the keyword in the title (at the beginning if possible).* Use the keyword in all the headings (h1 – h3).* Use the keyword at a reasonable density in the content and in particular in the 1st sentence.* Include a graphic and include the keyword in the Alt text.* Link to other pages on the site.* Link to relevant external pages.
This is quite a lot to remember but you can install a Plugin to check this on page SEO for you.

Perhaps you are already familiar with some of the acquirable information regarding advertising. The thing about so much of this is there are conditions that will have an effect on what you can anticipate to use. You can find decent sites to read that you can depend on, however not everything you need is necessarily in one place. It is not necessarily innocuous to adopt you have absolutely all the details and can stop reading and studying. No matter who it is, there are stumbling blocks along the way if you find some important piece of data seems to be missing. Sometimes people have no thought of how important it is, or they simply have no clue that this exists. If you forget to take advantage of this simple to figure out concept, then your work will not produce the kind of results you desire. What is involved with this intent of consistency has everything to do with the character of people and ways we react to our world. You need to think about about how we react when something happens that is unforeseen in certain circumstances. The end effect is we have a tendency to want to stay clear of seeing it, and that usually means travel away from your site, blog and business. One common characteristic of online marketing where this result is highly frequent concerns squeeze pages and another site. We have all observed and used squeeze pages when someone is building an email list for promotion. Depending on individualized preference, the marketer might deposit the fresh optin on a income page or other site. The business mortal behind it has the substitute to reveal a site or hold out until later. However, there is particular risk in this circumstance that embodies this concept of being consistent in your marketing which we will describe. The overall, generally unfamiliar, feeling experienced by the prospect will be affected by the layout and overall color scheme of the squeeze page and the subsequent site that is viewed. If they are substantially different, then that signifies inconsistency, distress on a deeper level and low resultant conversion rates for the income letter. The clear answer to this is just make the squeeze page much more similar to the next site that is viewed. These few considerations will make a difference in your information as they relate to advertising. But there is a great deal more that you would do well to study. We feel you will find them to be very helpful in a lot of ways. It should not need to be stated that you must perform closer examination of all pertinent points. We are not done, and there are just a couple of very strong suggestions and tips for you. However the above illustration is applicable to other areas involving affiliate marketing. Making review sites has been a very prevalent strategy, and usually there are several links to external product web pages. Needless to state you can't accommodate all the different vendor income page designs. What is attainable, and effective, is to make a site so it does deliver a smooth transition to the sites you are linking to. The main point is to never induce a massive contrast because your site is drastically different from anything else. You will want to make an effort to determine how well colors, layout and overall designs can be relatively inconspicuous which means they keep away from clashes. You are healthy to get by just fine if you try to make an attempt to minimize rough color clashes the maximum amount of as possible. The subsequent important consideration is all about promotion messages via the written word. We seldom see any glaring cases of inconsistently written marketing communications involving email marketing. Nevertheless as it applies to email marketing, it seems to be much more prevalent for some marketers to deviate in a massive way from what they generally promote in their emails. In our experience, this is not a massive problem we see in email campaigns. But yet, we do notice it at least a few times a week, and so that only indicates there is a demand of understanding of the need to possess consistency in all of our advertising funnels. There is much more that is critical to your understanding about advertising, and that is what we are about to serve up to you, right away. It is incredibly simple to overlook the most useful information because it is spread out all over the web. Review your site’s SEO
Article by Andrew Plimmer
Online entrepreneurs and those looking to develop a business designed to draw in leads will find no superior way of achieving such a goal than by having a website. A significant number of companies have reduced advertising budgets through heading towards online promotional ventures. These online marketing strategies deliver much superior results. There are various statistics designed to display the importance such a paradigm shift. Amazingly, statistics show 90% of all buys derives from simple keyword searches. This startling information highlights the great necessity to launch a search engine (SEO) optimisation strategy designed solely for attracting the right traffic to a site. A solid SEO campaign will begin with a complete review of a particular website and its content. It will also include a complete evaluation of competitor sites. During this initial review period, website publishers seek the ideal keywords that people will enter into the search engines. This is done to locate the primary product or service you offer.
Revise your content
Consider this an in-depth review since the purpose will be to locate the actual terms people employ rather than the terms you think they should enter. During this primeval review period, take an neutral look at the site content. Are your pages written in a manner that grants your company to appear experienced in the field? And, if the focus of your business is to offer a service, have you included your own set of articles on the site as a means to build up your professional reputation? If you’re selling a product, are consumers granted to write reviews?
Remember, this is only the first step to revising content within the process of an overall SEO strategy and it’s designed with the purpose of drawing in more visitors. This important review process can reveal some surprises. For example, a number of companies might invest a great deal of money on an outsourced firm to craft and publish a website only to discover that a component as simple as meta tags was not coded properly.
Review your keywords
Another aspect to point out is that all pages on the site need to target one-of-a-kind keywords. For this reason repeating a company’s study in the title page is not a good strategy. In a great many instances, the company’s study can be found within its webpage address in order to wage the search engines with simple access so as to index it.
Don’t forget that a great many people do not search for a company’s name. Rather, they will enter keywords designed to detail a specific product or service. When a site is properly optimized in such a manner, it will usually display itself within the first page of displayed results.
What are meta tags?
Those that are new to the world of search engine optimisation should not be overwhelmed by the ‘geek speak’. To view the meta tags found on a particular site, just click “View” in a web browser, then click “Source.” This displays the source code on the webpage. The title attach in the source code will display the title page that can be found on a web browser. These keywords are created to help the search engines find your site.
The description will generally appear in the results page of the search engine in order to show what specific content can be found on an individual webpage. While a site owner might explore individual content on a webpage, it is wise to also view the source code and analyze the meta tags. Most of the time, these items are properly optimized. The good news is this remains a great place to begin to revise the site as part of an overall SEO program. Keep in mind, such a review can be very time consuming and the process that goes into it can be involved.
Here’s a helpful checklist to think about when reviewing your web pages:
1. Are the meta tags clearly optimized?2. Can a visitor find your contact information easily?3. How long does it take for graphics to download?4. Has the designer put alt tags on the images?5. Are you offering helpful and important content on all the pages?6. Do visitors compliment the site’s content as informative and helpful?7. Does the site contain a great many Flash movies? Remember, search engines will not pick up on them easily and, additionally, they can take forever to load and run.8. Is the history, mission statement, place of operations, and info on the members of the company present on the site?9. Does the site offer a great deal of content about the professional field you are involved in?10. Does the site include a blog to communicate with visitors while enhancing your search engine rankings?

Why Marketers are Always Giving Away Free Stuff…
Article by T.M. Harris
Hello readers!
I wanted to simply write an informative post for a change, instead of telling you about someone’s website or anything like that.
This post will simply answer why world wide web marketers (especially in the ‘work at home’ or ‘make money online’ niche) are always giving away free stuff.
There’s two reasons behind it. One is semi-physical, the other psychological.
The reason they give away free stuff is to primarily obtain contact information on you so they can contact you in the future with future promotions and such.
So, you might think…”oh, well, they just wanna plug me other crap, right?”
Pretty much.:) That’s why a lot of marketers do it.
But…there’s an underlying reason why these world wide web marketers will give you something free, even if it should’ve been SOLD in the first place, because it was THAT good…
And that reason is this…
The Law of Reciprocity.
This Law of Reciprocity is defined at byregion.net as “to give and take mutually; to return in kind or even in another kind or degree.”
You give them something of pure value…you get something of pure value LATER ON (preferably $ $ $ )
I know you’ve seen similar rules and ethics in regards to Reciprocity.
In Christianity, the Bible says at Luke 6:31
31And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
In Islam, Muhammed is attributed to saying:
“That which you want for yourself, seek for mankind.”
Or, it’s more commonly stated “Do unto others, as you would have done unto you”
In a sense, you wage someone with good value…you get back good value down the road (either as a favor or $ $ $ )
I look at some of these gurus, who during each pre-launch they have for their BIG product, they give away something that’s really helpful or useful for free. They collect obloquy and emails along the way, though.
Then on launch day, all these people he gave something really useful to, they get an email, saying that his new product just went live, and X amount of duplicates are acquirable (of course, not enough for everyone to have..but that’s another lesson I’ll instruct you someday:) )
So, since these thousands of pre-launch visitors have something of true value from Mr. X the Guru…they feel a sense of reciprocating to him. They know they got something good from him for free, and now Mr. X has to make his living somehow. So, now that he has ‘the next huge thing’…they gotta get it from him!
The Golden Rule STRIKES AGAIN in the guru’s favor…all because he GAVE them something from the very beginning of their short-term online relationship.
Think about this next time you’re trying to collect lead or subscriber data for future promotion. This is more commonly known as lead generation or list building.

Why Marketing is More Important Than Sales
Article by Bob Van Rossum
Gone are the days when throngs of salesmen in penny loafers knocked on businesses’ doors one by one in hopes of introducing, educating, and converting those “blind” prospects into long-term customers. Thirty years ago, there were only a handful of ways prospects could get information from anyone other than your income force. Now, your marketing department has assumed the role of educating your customers, and your income team’s role has shrunk to simply converting interested and educated prospects into buyers. Plain and simple, marketing has trumped income in the corporate hierarchy.
Marketing this day is a complicated game. Back in the 1970′s, your company might have spent nearly its entire marketing budget on TV commercials to run during I Love Lucy, or purchased up a bunch of newspaper ads or broadcasting spots. These choices alone would grant you to reach your target audience. Not anymore. Focusing your marketing efforts with laser accuracy has replaced broadcasting. Now your marketing department needs to know where and how they can reach your targeted demographic. Is it on a telegram TV station geared toward women from 18-39, or should you sponsor a NASCAR driver so his fans (your prospects) can see your logo and hear him thank your company at the finish line? The choices are literally endless. The key is knowing which car will work for your business–whether it’s launching a direct mail campaign or sponsoring a major sporting event. And don’t forget about your online presence–your website, your blog, your social media posts. Though your marketing pie is larger than ever, it’s sliced into smaller pieces.
Not only do you need to pick the right channel to reach your customers, but you need to have a rock-solid message too. Today, customers want to know why your product or service is their ideal choice, and while you’re telling them, they anticipate to be entertained. What makes your company memorable? Do you have an amphibian as your spokesperson? Do you have a recurring element in your commercials, like a 5-word phrase that sums up your customers’ frustrations with your competitors? Developing winning marketing campaigns takes research and ROI-driven program development all being led by a talented, creative team. It also requires your marketing message stays consistent throughout your company–from your TV advertisements to your email signature line. Marketing plays a larger role in business than ever.
Effective marketing means your prospects will remember your study and know where to find you. They will not move around for a salesperson to knock on their door. They’ll go to your website, research what other people are saying about you, and maybe even subscribe to your social networking feed. Only then, if they like what they see, will they decide to contact your income department. In today’s world by the time your income team begins interacting with your prospects, they should already have a strong understanding of who you are and what you do based on the work of marketing. You need to be generating more revenue with fewer salespeople than before.
So the next time your income numbers disappoint you, don’t immediately fire the chief income officer –take a hard look at your messaging and how it is delivered to your target audience instead. Do you have the ideal available, experienced talent working for you? Has your marketing team grown to keep up with the new media demands? If not, it’s time to make some changes in your marketing staff–not your income staff. With a top marketing staff and a progressive marketing plan, you’ll watch your income climb.

Why Marketing on the Internet Will Boom in 2010
Article by TJ Philpott
Many are aware of the rising ‘popularity’ of marketing on the world wide web and after a period of significant economic changes this popularity seems to be increasing. Unless you live under a rock it has been hard to ignore current economic conditions that have spanned the globe. Banking failures, company cutbacks and shutdowns, individualized bankruptcies and a record rate of foreclosures have plagued the news and our lives. The unpredictability of the current economic environment has sent stress in each direction and to each continent.
Through all this why is it than that the world wide web appears to be upbeat and optimistic about its immediate and distant future?
Here are 5 compelling reasons why the latest economic impact felt world-wide will serve to only increase marketing activity online.
Economic Crisis
The economic impact the world-wide recession has prefabricated on businesses both massive and small has forced them to re-evaluate their means, objectives and approach. This ‘wake up’ call has businesses exploring new ways to ‘recapture’ or ‘rekindle’ lost revenue. The world wide web offers a very viable means to accomplish these objectives. A much more in-depth approach and commitment to transitioning business activities online is being taken.
The negative ‘aftermath’ of this is that the commonly accepted and traditional methods WILL be phased out. As in life however evolution will also continue to take place in the world of commerce.
Corporate Budget Crunch
The economic environment as it stands this day have forced companies to either cut cost or go out of business. The end result is that ‘all eyes are now on the internet’ to realize many of the cost savings companies seek.
Advertising online presents significant cost savings and efficiency increases that can not be ignore. Customer service, shipping and other scheduling duties can also be performed much more efficiently over the world wide web as well.
Cost Effective Advertising
Radio, TV and even billboards have become increasingly more costly and less effective in terms of conveying marketing messages. The world wide web on the other hand continues to ‘infiltrate’ just about each aspect of our lives and proves to be very cost effective means for advertising.
Global Audience
The capability to reach a global audience for businesses massive and small automatically expands income potential. Being healthy to access your target audience with pin point accuracy on a 24/7 basis is also a dream come true for market researchers.
Growing Acceptance of Ecommerce
For consumer or industrial buys it has become more the exception than the rule to go online for pricing comparisons. In a vast majority of the cases even the buys are prefabricated online at websites set up for these purposes.
It is now commonly accepted to routinely shop the world wide web either on a consumer or industrial level for just about any commodity you can imagine.
At this time it appears that marketing on the world wide web is thriving while preparing to embed itself even more deeply into our lives. There is no denying that the economic changes already experienced will modify the landscape of commerce forever. The 5 factors we spoke of above state it all. Due to the resulting economic impact felt globally more businesses will be seeking to change the way they operate. The world wide web as a result is becoming even more widely viewed as a viable ‘arena’ in which to conduct business. From entrepreneurs to huge business the world wide web is preparing itself once again to expand its ‘spacious corridors’ by throwing out a welcome mat to ALL.

Or begin a loyalty program – purchase 4 get one free etc.
Remember, word of mouth advertising is more effective than any other form of advertising – and much cheaper!
4. Offer Your Potential Customers a Cheaper or Premium Version of Your Product.
Remember that some potential clients won’t want to pay the advertised price for your product. You should have a financial strategy to cater for all budgets.
You will always find those people out looking for a bargain, good on them. A good business strategy is to accommodate for this. Avoid losing the understanding altogether and have a no frills version of your product that you can sell for a lower price.

3. Don’t Kid Yourself. Don’t Advertise Like a Huge Business.
You probably can't afford to advertise like a huge business. It’s much superior to do your research and advertise smartly, than largely. It is much more effective to have 5 smaller advertisements, than one massive one. You’d be surprised how effective smaller forms of advertising can be.
Have you thought about a letterbox drop? If you include a special offer in your advertising, you might sway more potential customers to try your business.
2. Get Online – Don’t Miss Out on a Sale!
The world wide web is open 24/7. You can’t pop down to the shopping centre at 4:00am and purchase a pair of shoes; but you can online! So many small businesses change to advertise online. If you are not online, you are behind the eight-ball. You should know that the world wide web is typically the first place people go for information.

A good training system will also help you build an online presence by not only offering astounding training, but also a good training system will include preloaded capture pages with opt-in boxes, an capability to track and communicate with new leads, preloaded emails, a helpful customer service team, and mentors that are ready and willing to point you in the right direction.
In my opinion, the ideal thing about having an online marketing system is that, you might be in business for yourself, but you do not have to be in business alone. With this kind of system in place, you will have access to an online community that like yourself, are investing in their education so that they can also be the ideal world wide web network marketers possible.
